This task is important because it checks that appropriate controls are in place, ensures that the infrastructure performance is sustained, and that delivery has a proper hand off from the transition team. The documented lessons learned, processes and procedures,  detailed work instruction documentation, knowledge articles, and any proposals for service improvement are passed on to the on-going delivery  team.

During this stage the following actions are performed:

• The deployed Technology And Infrastructure components are documented
•  Reaffirm the Technology And Infrastructure  components are functioning properly
•  Ensure SLAs are in place, KPIs agreed and reporting mechanisms are in place

Ensure that early life support plan is in place, including governance calls with the Client and service delivery team.
